Your team’s info, kept small and kept close.

Halftime Oranges is made by The School of Play. This policy explains what the app and this website collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1Who uses the app
Halftime Oranges is for adults: coaches, team managers and parents. Children never sign up, never log in and never use the app themselves.
2What the app keeps
- About adults: your first name and your roles in the team.
- About children: a first name and last initial (or a nickname), an optional playing number, the family they belong to, and the team’s age group.
- Game information: attendance, rotations, team history, duty rosters and the sessions you plan.
- Coach-only notes and confidence bands, if you choose to use them.
We never collect a child’s birthday, school, address or photo.
3Where it lives
Everything above is stored on the phone that runs the app. It is not uploaded to our servers. If you make a backup file, it is saved wherever you choose to put it.
When you share a roster, schedule or team code, it goes through your phone’s share sheet to the people and apps you pick.
4No ads, no tracking, nothing sold
The app has no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking. We will never sell, rent or share your family’s information.
5Purchases
If you buy Halftime Oranges Plus, Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) takes the payment under their own privacy policies. We use RevenueCat to confirm your purchase so Plus unlocks on your devices. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app identifier and your purchase details, never your team, your children or your name.
6Coach-only information and automated suggestions
Team Shuffle suggests teams and the rotation planner suggests sub times, using who is at the game, keep-together and keep-apart rules, team history and optional coach-only confidence bands. A coach always reviews and can change every suggestion.
Confidence bands and coach notes are never shown to parents, never included in exports, and are deleted when a season is archived.
7This website
If you fill in a form on this site (early access, contact or clubs), we receive what you type, such as your name, email, role, sport and club, so we can reply. We only send you updates if you tick the box to say yes, and you can unsubscribe any time.
The website is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to run and protect the site. We don’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
8Your choices
In the app you can export or delete any child’s information, delete a whole team, or erase everything on the phone (Settings, then Privacy). Deleting the app also removes its data from that phone.
To access or correct anything you sent us through this website, or to ask us to delete it, email privacy@halftimeoranges.com.au.
9Photos and messaging
There are no photos of children in the app and no way for an adult to message a child. If photos are ever added, each child will need a parent’s written, specific and revocable consent.
10Changes and contact
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change matters to you.
Questions or a privacy complaint: privacy@halftimeoranges.com.au. If you’re not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
